What this blog is
TemJayto is my field notebook. Most posts start the same way: a customer hits something weird with Fabric, Power BI, SQL or Copilot, the easy answer doesn't work for enterprise reasons, and I have to figure out how it really works under the hood. Then I write it up so the next person doesn't lose a week like I did.
I've been writing this way on LinkedIn since 2016, from IoT with Azure and Power BI, through service principals on Linux, EmbedTokens, Always Encrypted, up to today's Fabric and Copilot work. TemJayto is the new home for those notes, starting with the series below. Same formula every time: customer question, why the obvious fix fails, the mechanism, the gotcha, and links to the docs that actually helped.
What you'll find here right now
Two 5-part series, each also readable on one page. The newest, From Weeks to Hours, follows an AI pipeline for civil-engineering Site Investigation Reports on Azure AI Foundry: why a liability document can't be a chatbot, how every fact stays on a deterministic, cited path, and what that changes for the business.
The first series takes one dataset from a Fabric lakehouse all the way to a beautiful, Figma-themed Power BI report, with GitHub Copilot doing the heavy lifting via Fabric MCP, Power BI MCP and Figma MCP. Start at Part 1, or read the whole series on one page.

TemJayto Digital is my own brand, advisory and dev studio. This blog is part of it. Everything I write here is my own opinion, from my own time, and not the view of my employer.
As usual, send me a note if you need to know more about anything here.
